There’s a great deal of media and consumer interest in Bitcoin – whether its meteoric rise can be sustained, and whether it is in fact a “legitimate” investment. If we follow the traditional definition of a bubble as being “created by a surge in asset prices unwarranted by the fundamentals of the asset,” we can conclude that Bitcoin is in bubble territory.
Many of those “investing” have no idea about the structure of bitcoin, how it works or the technology behind it, yet the level of investor interest is at fever pitch.
