Making a mistake doesn’t have to cost you a customer


All businesses are run by humans and all humans can make mistakes. So it is likely that if you run a business, with our without staff, that sometime during the life of your business you may make a mistake which will dissatisfy one or more of your customers.


It is not the mistake that is likely to cost you the customer, but the way your business handles the mistake that will determine whether a customer stays or goes.


In fact, handled well, you can cement your relationship with the customer which in turn can lead them to ‘singing your praises’ and referring more business to your door.
