Women earn much less than men, and women live longer than men.  So when it comes to retirement, statistics show that women have far less to retire on and in many cases not enough.

This article not only gives insight into how and why this has occurred over time, but takes a look at some of the solutions needed to fix this problem and argues that the Governments’ policies need to reflect and consider the life and work patterns of women today if this huge gap in super policy for women is to be closed.
